Abu Dhabi: Recruitment agency Marc Ellis becomes the first recruitment firm to make the transition to the Metaverse in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Marc Ellis will offer the first of its kind Metaverse Training Academy – where users can take courses taught in the Metaverse – from anywhere in the world.
This is in line with the Metaverse strategy proposal presented in July by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, to support the creation of 40,000 jobs and bring $4 billion to Dubai’s economy from 5 years here.
“There are currently over 400 million active global users of the metaverse, giving us a huge candidate pool potential that isn’t easily accessible with traditional methods,” said Marc Ellis director Aws Ismail. .
According to Marc Ellis, recruiters will have better access to candidates as the company anticipates that more and more users will continue to move to the digital space where they can apply for jobs in a more secure and interactive way. this has been facilitated through the security and privacy offered by blockchain operations and immersive technologies that can be used to complement their interactions on the metaverse.
Marc Ellis has already developed a complete and independent office space with the latest metaverse technology, to begin the transformation of employment-based practices in the UAE into the digital space.
The agency also plans to interview candidates on the Metaverse using virtual reality and office spaces based on the Metaverse.
